About 150 years ago, illustrious Karwa family started its business activities in Assam (Eastern India) in the name of Saligram Rai Chunnilal Bahadur & Co. in Banking and Petroleum products. It then gradually entered in Tea estates, motor vehicles dealership etc. The group had the widest and biggest service netowrk, nearly 110 outlets of petroleum products of Burmashell (now IOC) in Northeast India.
It was in early eighties the new generation
visualized to expand its business boundaries beyond
Assam and landed in the country's capital. The young
team started new busienss avenues and within a short
span of time entered in the field of Paints, Auto
electrical and Mechine Parts, and Chemicals besides
dealing in Petroleum products.

Our principals Orient General Industries Ltd., a
Birla Group Co. (One of the Largest Business House
in India) provided the necessary technical know how.
It had the original collaboration with Joseph Lucas,
England from 1956 till 1966 for Auto Electrical products,
which they were manufacturing till 1988 untill they
transferred to us. Thus, Sanauto was established in
year 1988 for manufcatring of Auto Electrical Equipments
and Components.
Sanauto today is a well knit, organized unit and
is planning to diversify into other allied product
range. The company has a vision to become the leader
in manufacturing of Auto Electrical Components and
Engineering Components with special emphasis on export
market for such items. In view of this, we became
member of Automotive Part Rebuilders Association (APRA),
USA in 1997 and obtained ISO-9002
certification on 21.08.1998 from DET - NORSKE
VERITAS (D.N.V.) and upgraded the system
to ISO 9001-2000 on 09.10.2004 from
DNV. Currently we are ISO 9001: 2008 Company.
Continued Efforts in technology innovation, equipment
upgradation and staff recruiting as well as training
over last 5 years have made us a reliable & consistent
quality manufacturer.
Our factory is Located in Faridabad (Haryana), which
is only 30 Kms from New Delhi. The factory encompasses
a total area of approximately 15,000 Sq. Ft., of which
about 13500 Sq. Ft. is covered comprising of Factory
shed and Builidng. Besides, our Company is only 17
Kms away from Delhi dry container yard.
